25 random things about myself
1. I love photography.
2. I love having a clean house and I don't mind cleaning, but my house is always messy...this bothers me.
3. I used to be "obsessed" with tootsie rolls. I still love to eat them.
4. I love reading...my favorite book is "The Giver"
5. I used to love reading Holocaust survival stories, but I guess I've become more sensitive because they are too sad for me now.
6. I visited Auschwitz Concentration camp in Poland once.
7. I don't watch the news often, but when I do I usually will cry, Porter says I shouldn't watch it anymore.
8. I love traveling...I want to see & experience the whole world.
9. Losing Porter is my biggest fear.
10. My favorite color is blue, followed by green, & white.
11. I'm not crafty like so many other "homemakers", but I do like to scrapbook (which for me means throwing as many pictures on one page as possible...I just love the result).
12. I'm quitting my nail biting habit. I've been biting my nails since before I had teeth ;)
13. As ridiculous as the show "The Bachelor" is...it's totally my guilty pleasure.
14. If there is ever a TV series worth owning I think it's "The Office". So funny!
15. Porter and I still enjoy the original NES (Nintendo Entertainment System). My favorite games are Mario Bro's 3 and Dr. Mario!
16. I hate the movie "She's the Man"
17. I love the movie "Man Who Knew Too Little"
18. I have "projects" every day...even dishes are a project (especially without a dishwasher!)
19. I love making lists...sometimes I put something on my list that I've already just accomplished so that I can cross it off.
20. A lot of times I think it's funny when Porter gets mad...this makes him more mad.
21. I have a really keen sense of smell - Porter doesn't get away with anything ;) He tells me the smell is in my nose and not in the air.
22. I had a good pregnancy, great delivery, and I have an even greater baby...I'm freaked out for the second go around because it couldn't possibly get better.
23. I hate exercise unless it's in the form of a sport - mainly soccer.
24. I used to "live" for skiing... I miss that passion I used to have, but it's just not as important to me anymore.
25. I'm already sad that one day Avilyn will move away from home.
